Candidate Abandonment

All that effort to drive candidates to apply and… they just drop out.  The reasons are of course varied and the chart below shows only the application stage in what is becoming an ever lengthening and expensive supply chain.  More than 1/2 of the employers responding to this survey were admittedly not capturing much data to support their ‘guesswork’ but they are confident where the choke points are and, as might be suspected, with more and more candidates applying via mobile, the failure to adapt their application to something that is less than 15 minutes is just one more problem in a growing list.
